porta vers handicap

Creating the right environment for people with handicaps means having to adapt structures to the auxiliary accessories that people with handicaps use and to the space required for their movement. The regulations in force, therefore, set the fundamental rules for the construction of new facilities, establish the spaces and impose the elimination of architectural barriers where they exist. Several elements held to be dangerous are: entrances, stairs, gradients, free-standing radiators in foyers, athletic fields, bathrooms and showers. The walls must be scratch and bump resistant and the corners must be shock-proof.

Comeca proposes a wide range of doors designed according to the regulations in force, already predisposed with internal reinforcements for the positioning of anti-panic handles 90 cm from the ground, internal and external bumper strips, free/occupied locks and electronic locks. Moreover, sliding doors or leaf opening doors are advisable, while rotating, non-delay automatic return doors and glass doors are not advisable if not provided with safety devices.
